Gold is one of the primary resources in the game. Gold is mostly used for levelling up, upgrading and trading Performance Cards.
You can earn gold from tasks, login attendance, Step-Up and events.
You can also earn gold by collecting Friendship Points and purchasing Friendship Gift Boxes with them. Each box can give you anywhere from 500 to 5,000 gold.
You also gain gold for each song you complete successfully. The amount of gold you receive is based on its length and difficulty as seen in the table below:

You also gain gold through Support. You can find this menu in the home screen.
Support accumulates gold for up to 8 hours. You can claim the regular amount or double the amount by watching an Ad.

You can also purchase gold with Hive Gems by going to Shop → Resources → Gold.
Certain bundles include Gold and subscriptions such as Hive Pass and Fan Plus will reward you Gold for logging in regularly.
Gold is split into Paid and Free Gold.
